SUMMER MUSIC & THEATER INTENSIVE

Northern Stage in collaboration with Tuck’s Rock Dojo bringing Broadway to the Upper Valley.

If you play any instrument you’d feel comfortable performing in front of an audience, join us at Northern Stage for an incredible experience this summer through a professional-level music & theater training!

Over the course of 4 weeks in July, students will rehearse and perform the currently running Broadway musical, School of Rock. This program is designed to extend the professionalism of Tuck’s Rock Dojo to prepare young musicians (between age 12-18) to perform Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock musical on the main stage of the Barrette Center for the Arts. Parallel with the music training a group of youth performers will be prepared by Northern Stage's Director of Education and Assistant Artistic Director Eric Love. Love will be joined by a professional choreographer and music director, who will meet each student at their singing and dancing level and give them the tools to improve.

This summer intensive gives a chance to the region’s musicians and actors to push themselves

and their abilities to the next level.

TUITION

SUMMER MUSIC INTENSIVE: $800/Musician paid upon registration - 90 hours of training plus 4 performances
